The Orphan Hosting Program brings orphaned children ages 7-15 from Ukraine to stay with host families in America for a 3 week holiday trip. For these children, this trip is not only the most amazing vacation they’ve ever had, but also for most, this is their only opportunity to experience life in a family. During the program, the children generally live with families in North Carolina, but occasionally families are located in other parts of the United States. The main goals of the program are to allow the children to experience life with a family for three weeks and giving the orphans a carefree holiday as honored guests. Additionally, the hosting program allows our families the experience of knowing what it is like to have an older orphan as part of their family. This may open the door for them to consider adoption of an older orphan, whether or not that child is their hosted child.
